Crazy Project Tracker

Crazy Project Tracker is a desktop tool that allows for creating subjective task lists.

It is a standalone tool with no fancy internet connectivity, no AI integration, no required logins or service integrations.  Just a simple tool to do a job.

This has been created to help me manage my own activities and projects, but if you can also find a use for it, feel free to give it a go.  You could use it for any kind of task lists that you want sorted into subjects.

The tool allows you to create "Projects" that act as containers for "Tasks".

Each project allows you to set its Name and Description to help distinguish the different projects.

Each task created is specific to its project, and is configured with a Name and Description as well.  The tool assigns a task creation date and a last edited date to each task on creation and editing.

Tasks can be confirmed as "active" or "complete" by clicking the circle icon on the task button.   Task completion can be reversed the same way.

The core colour scheme of the app can also be changed using the slider at the bottom of the UI, this will change the Hue of the UI and store the resulting value for the next run.  The Task colours are not configurable however, this is to ensure that the tasks maintain a strong contrast and colour distinction between active or completed tasks.

The Descriptions of Projects and Tasks can both be edited to allow updating the elements as ideas evolve.

Projects can also be removed by using the bin icon in the Project List Panel.  This function permanently deletes the currently selected project by removing the stored data and reloading the apps' remaining stored data.

The data is stored by the app in your "User" directory under "CrazyProjectTracker".  The information contained in this folder is stored as JSON formatted plain text in an organised directory structure.  ANY alteration to the files or folders stored might result in the app crashing, or your projects being permanently erased.

When testing the various functions during development, everything seems to work as intended, and numerous glitches have been resolved before upload.  If you happen to notice any problems with the app, such as Project or Task Data not loading, failure to store data, or unexpected app crashes, please let me know so I can investigate the issue.  Please ensure to describe the problem as best you can to allow me to try to replicate and fix the problem.

This app is offered for free and "as is", I may decide to market it elsewhere in future, and maybe for a fee.  Should this happen, this version might also be reviewed and given a price tag.  For now though it is what it is.
